PyMuPDF Engine

Lossless Stitching at
Object Level.

Merging PDFs isn't as simple as concatenating files. Each PDF has a complex internal reference table (XRef) and a catalog of objects (fonts, images, forms). Naive merging often breaks links or corrupts fonts.

We use a high-performance Object Graph Merging technique. Instead of rasterizing pages, we graft the object trees of the source documents into a new master host document.

This ensures that interactive elements remain alive. Bookmarks, hyperlinks, and form fields are preserved, and shared resources (likethe same logo used on 50 pages) are de-duplicated to keep the file size small.

Smart Resource Pooling

Layer Preservation

Keeps OCR text layers intact.

Optimized Output

Runs garbage collection on unused objects.

Fast Processing

C-based backend for millisecond speed.

Why Merge PDF Files?

In the digital age, information often comes in pieces. You scan a contract page by page, or download invoices separately. Keeping track of dozens of files is a headache.

The Organization Problem:

Emailing 10 separate attachments to a client looks unprofessional and risks files being overlooked. Printing multiple files requires opening each one individually.

The Solution:

Merge them. A single, unified PDF file is easier to share, easier to print, and easier to archive. Our tool lets you do this purely in the cloud, without installing heavy software like Adobe Acrobat.

PDF Terminology

Merge / Combine

The process of taking pages from multiple PDF files and putting them into a single file.

XRef Table

Cross-Reference Table. An internal map in the PDF that locates every object in the file.

Flattening

Merging layers (like form fields) into the base page content so they are no longer editable.

Vector Graphics

Mathematical descriptions of images (like fonts) that scale infinitely without pixelation.

Tips for Success

Check Order

The order matters. Make sure you select or rename files so they appear in the sequence you want them in the final document.

Remove Encryption

We cannot merge password-protected files. Unlock them first using our Unlock tool.
